Bars in Brighton
There are so many great bars in Brighton but here are some of my favourite ones:
For those who knew Brighton a few years again, Patterns took over the space at Audio. Situated to the left of the pier opposite the sea life centre, the bar offers beautiful views of Brighton Pier.
We were lucky enough to nab a spot on the large terrace area, which is perfect for big groups. From 2pm DJ’s were playing, the sun was shining and I felt like I was on holiday!
The bar inside is large and spacious and makes for a great dance floor! Fridays at Patterns is Foundations, a night focused on the local scene and UK sounds that explore everything from Grime to UK Hip Hop, Bassline to Jungle. Entry is usually £3/5. Saturdays at Patterns appeal to a wider market of sounds, with disco, house, techno & electronica being the predominant genres.
Make sure you check out the 241 happy hour deals between 5-9pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays! What a winner.
Patterns also has Air BNB Accommodation available in the flats above it, which is perfect if you are coming down with a group for the weekend!
Situated near the Pavilion is Be at One, a popular cocktail bar chain. When we arrived at 9pm it was in full swing with people dancing already. Just how I like it!
There is a private room upstairs which can be hired out for events. During the week they have a great happy hour between 5-7pm. Be at One are renowned for their cocktails so expect some great classics. My love for Aperol Spitz continues so I just had to opt for that!
Tucked in the South Lanes is The Mesmerist, a deceptively large bar with 5 rooms, some which are perfect for events, large parties and masterclasses! Cocktails are reasonably priced at £8 and make sure you go into the photo booth!

This bar takes me back to my student days! Situated in a two storey building with high ceilings, the Font gets pretty packed at the weekends. I have always considered it an upper class Wetherspoons with music!
Offering pub grub and drinks at reasonable prices, I still love a little tipple here! This is definitely helped by the 241 cocktails ALL DAY EVERY DAY!! If you fancy a burger you can enjoy 241 Monday through to Friday, all day!

This is one of my favourite bars in Brighton right on the seafront by the pier. Given its fantastic location, it is slightly pricier than other similar bars but the amazing terrace in the sun makes it worthwhile.
An Irish pub that gets going at night time with people dancing on the tables until 4am! No frills and great fun, especially when there is live music.
